National Biopharmaceutical Research Institute
The National Biopharmaceutical Research Institute (NBPRI) is the leading national research institute of the Republic of Uzbekistan dedicated to advancing biotechnology, biopharmaceutical sciences, pharmaceutical innovation and translational research. Established by the Presidential Decree of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PF-35 dated 5 March 2026, the Institute serves as the country's central scientific platform for conducting advanced research, developing innovative pharmaceutical technologies, strengthening technology transfer and supporting the sustainable development of Uzbekistan's pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors. The Institute was established through the integration of the Uzbekistan Chemical-Pharmaceutical Research Institute, the Tashkent Scientific Research Institute of Vaccines and Serums, and the "Sharq Tabobati" Research Institute, becoming the legal successor to these institutions and consolidating their scientific expertise, research infrastructure and innovation potential into a unified national center of excellence for biopharmaceutical research and development.

To become an internationally recognized center of excellence in biotechnology and biopharmaceutical research, contributing to the advancement of scientific innovation and modern pharmaceutical technologies, while strengthening the Republic of Uzbekistan's position as a regional leader in the life sciences through high-impact research, strategic partnerships, and the successful translation of scientific achievements into practical healthcare applications.
