Natural Medicines Chemistry Laboratory

The Natural Medicines Chemistry Laboratory leads and directly participates in conducting the following fundamental and applied research activities:

Scientific investigation of medicinal plants and other natural sources;
Isolation, purification, and identification of naturally occurring bioactive compounds;
Standardization of natural medicinal substances and development of phytopharmaceuticals and natural drug dosage forms;
In vitro biotechnological synthesis and enzymatic modification of natural compounds;
Evaluation of the pharmacological activity and safety of natural medicinal products;
Development of import-substituting pharmaceutical products based on locally available medicinal plants and natural raw materials.
