Yonsei University (Republic of Korea) NBRI has established a strategic partnership with Yonsei University, College of Pharmacy, through a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at promoting long-term collaboration in pharmaceutical biotechnology, vaccine research, biomanufacturing, and capacity building. The partnership provides a framework for joint research, researcher exchange, professional training, technology transfer, and collaborative international grant applications. In addition, NBRI has signed a separate Memorandum of Understanding with K-NIBRT (Korea National Institute for Bioprocessing Research and Training) to strengthen cooperation in biomanufacturing education and workforce development. As part of this collaboration, NBRI researchers have successfully completed specialized hands-on training programmes in the Republic of Korea, including: Hands-on Training on mRNA Vaccine Manufacturing Hands-on Training on Antibody Manufacturing Introductory Course for Biologics Development and Manufacturing These programmes have enhanced the institute's expertise in modern biomanufacturing technologies and contributed to strengthening Uzbekistan's capacity in vaccine and biologics production.
