PRACTICAL SEMINAR ON SCIENTIFIC ARTICLE WRITING HAS OFFICIALLY STARTED

The National Biopharmaceutical Research Institute (NBRI) has launched a three-day practical seminar entitled "Publishing Scientific Articles in Scopus and Web of Science Journals."

On the first day of the seminar, researchers, university faculty members, scientific staff, master's students, PhD and DSc candidates, and young scientists actively engaged in research took part in the event.

During the sessions, participants were introduced to the latest requirements for publishing scientific papers in international journals, the opportunities offered by the Scopus and Web of Science databases, the fundamental principles of preparing scientific manuscripts in accordance with international standards, and both theoretical and practical guidance on writing articles using the IMRAD format.

In addition, participants received recommendations on selecting international journals that best match their research fields, analyzing journal requirements, improving the quality of scientific manuscripts, and addressing common challenges encountered during the publication process. The seminar was conducted in an interactive format, allowing participants to receive detailed answers from experts to their questions.

Throughout the remaining sessions, participants will also gain practical experience in the manuscript submission process, the peer-review procedure, preparing professional responses to reviewers' comments, maintaining research ethics, preventing plagiarism, and understanding key issues related to copyright and authorship.
